Challenge: A 200 lbs payload must be manually positioned with stroke in the following range: +/- 1” (XYZ), +/- 3 deg (pitch, roll, yaw).
Solution: Custom XYZ HDS solution with custom rotational stages between each axis. Motion Solutions provided complete design, assembly, and proof load testing. THK SHS linear guides with special chrome plating used on all axes and Helix linear leadscrews.
Result: Our engineers customized every facet of the design and completed the development and assembly of a single unit, as per the customer’s requirements. The 6 DOF Positioner was delivered to the customer after being tested successfully for proof-load.
