Challenge: Customer needed to position sample for imaging. They also required both these assemblies to be low-cost and have quiet performance.

- Modified Stock Drive worm gear set (motorized jack)
- Modified KHK and Stock Drive bevel gears(manual jack)
- Eichenberger ball screw (motorized jack)
- Helix left-hand lead screw (manual jack)
- Modified Misumi components for shafting

- Motorized Jack: 6” travel, 75 lb load and Quiet performance
- Manual Jack: 6” travel and Quiet performance
Result: Our engineers were able to design, build and deliver a manual and motorized optical comparator lifting jack as per the customer’s requirements. The customer was very happy with Motion Solutions’ ability to not only meet their price targets but also the ability to manufacture it locally.
