Shasta (LGS) Linear-Guide Stages
Our Vertex Shasta (LGS) linear-guide stages offer high-performance linear positioning at an economical price. Ball-screw and/or lead-screw versions are available to meet your application needs.
The Shasta family includes 60-mm-wide models in the industry-standard heights of 25 mm (Shasta 25) and 33 mm (Shasta 33). To provide greater stability for oversized loads, the Shasta W33 features a rail spacing of 120 mm. Repeatability ranges from 10 µm to 100 µm.

Denali HD (HDS) Heavy Duty Linear-Guide Stages
Our Vertex Denali HDS stages are robust, rigid, budget-friendly positioners built around linear guides with load ratings of 24.2 kN (5440 lbs) per block. They are available in lengths of up to 2 m, with critical speeds of 6000 RPM. Denali HDS stages are designed to position high masses, high moment loads, and variable center-of-gravity loads to repeatabilities as tight as 10 µm. These highly configurable stages can be combined in XY and XYZ assemblies.
Because we build the stages in-house, users have many options, starting with a choice of standard or high-axial-thrust versions. Other options include choice of leads, motor mounts, cover types, and a hand-cranked version. Like other Vertex products, stages from our Denali HD line can be customized to serve particular needs.
