Challenge: Most OEMs don’t always have the space for off-the-shelf drives and control solutions. Machines have specific demands for servo, stepper, IO control, cost, and performance; finding the right blend isn’t always easy.
Solution: Motion Solutions will collaborate with you and your team to develop a “right-sized” solution for the application. Considering stepper motor requirements, servo motor requirements, and the need for specialty IO, connectorization, and heat management.
Result: The final design is 4 axis of stepper control and 3 axis of servo control. A combination of digital and analog IO is managed and controlled through a series of connectors for easy installation at the OEM. Specialty communication through additional connectors is provided to connect to other devices on the machine.
